BMW X5: Replacing Level Switch For Dynamic Drive Fluid Reservoir
Unscrew nuts.
Remove shims.
Installation:
Replace self-locking nuts.
Tightening torque.

NOTE: Raise and/or turn fluid reservoir in order to gain better access
to plug
connection.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Turn level switch (2) through approx. 45º and remove towards bottom.

REPLACING PRESSURE LINE FOR DYNAMIC DRIVE (N62TU)
Remove pressure line part 1 (1) (from power steering pump to junction I on
engine carrier).
Remove pressure line part 2 (2) (from junction I to junction II on vehicle
underbody on right).
Remove rear pressure line (part 3) (from junction II to valve block)

Remove front return line (1) (from steering gear or junction I to power
steering cooler). See Fig. 84.
Remove rear return line (2) (from junction I to valve block). See Fig. 84.
