shafts must be
reassembled in the same position.

Remove propeller shaft.
Fill centering bore (1) complet

Remove engine.
Remove cylinder head (cylinder bank 1 to 4).
Remove cylinder head (cylinder bank 5 to 8).
Remove hub for vibration damper.
Removing lower timing case cover.
Removing oil pan.

Principle
At blind driveway exits or when driving out of perpendicular
parking spaces, road users approaching
from the side are detected sooner by the
cross traffic warning than is possible from the
driver's seat.
